Honoring Patrick Stewart: Make it so. The ‘Star Trek’ icon died on Oct. 28 at age 86 after a brief battle with Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia, with many in Hollywood mourning the loss. “Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor,” Star Trek: The Original Series’ William Shatner wrote on Instagram Oct. 29. “From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did.” He continued, “Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.” It was a sentiment shared by Shatner’s castmate George Takei, who wrote on his own Instagram, “Our hearts are heavy, indeed. Rest in the heavens, Captain.” Stewart’s ‘X-Men’ costar Hugh Jackman also paid tribute, writing on Instagram, “We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/photos/38403/patrick-stewart-dead-stars-pay-tribute
